Street Child is based on the true story of Jim Jarvis, a young boy in mid 19th Century Victorian London. His mother died, he can't find his sisters and he ends up in the workhouse. The play charts his journey from being evicted from his home to meeting a pleasant man called Dr Thomas Barnardo who takes him in to his orphange and gives him a new life.
