25/1/2010 - Class 2 are Busy Little Beavers
Class 2 got creative this past half term with some topic work around Beavers, exploring how God has designed them to create dams and be an essential part of our life here on Earth.
Students enjoyed creating their own lodges with an exceptional piece of work created by Rachael seen in the picture attached to this article.
The work also attracted the attention of the Education Officer at Edinburgh Zoo who is putting together a lesson pack on beavers. She was interested to speak to Mrs Plant and see the work the children so that she could look to using some ideas in her own work.
Well done to all of the students in class 2 for some terrific work this past half term. Pupils can now look forward to a visit from Mrs Plant's dog, Cassie, as they embark on their extended writing task of creating a collaborative book about the life of Cassie the Cute.
