Bradford Christian School believes in helping each young person to make the most of their God-given gifts and talents.

In the Parable of the Talents Jesus praised the servants who made the most of their talents but was displeased with the one that didn’t. That’s why at Bradford Christian School we believe in working hard and doing your best whatever your abilities.

We’re especially pleased that so many of our children achieve even higher grades than the CAT (Cognitive Ability Tests) predict they will get. We count it a privilege to work with young people who are academically gifted and also with those whose main strengths and talents in life are not academic. We love them all because God loves them all.

Talented Students

This year one student gained 9 A* grades, higher results than most students get at selective schools such as Bradford Grammar. In fact, a quarter of all exams taken at Bradford Christian School resulted in an A or A* grade.

Another success story is the student who gained 8 C grades and did well in relation to her ability. We’re delighted with another student who gained 3 Cs and 4 Ds grades because these were higher than the CAT predicted in all but one subject.

In fact, although 41% of our students were predicted 5 C-A* passes at GCSE, 59% actually achieved this level of success. But we’re not complacent. We’re not resting on our laurels. Our aim is for every student to achieve his or her God-given potential in every subject. Although 87% of our results reached or exceeded predicted grades we want 100% value-added results - because God values each child so highly.

The Future

We’re not there yet but with the partnership of our parents we can get there. With our small classes, individual attention, talented teachers and good Christian family environment, we’re well on the way. Together we can see even more of our children achieve their potential academically and have the wisdom and self-discipline to use their gifts, abilities and talents well.
