About the Job
Bradford Christian School is an independent faith based school through school with a passionate commitment to
making a difference to children’s lives and ensuring that all pupils have the highest possible learning experience.
Following a successful OFSTED report and to accommodate the increasing numbers of children in our Primary
School teaching Years 3 and 4, we are seeking to appoint an additional Primary Teacher to join our team. This is
a superb opportunity to teach a Primary Curriculum with Christian Values in a warm, loving and welcoming
environment with small class sizes.
Hours: 1 role Part Time, 2 days per week
Salary: £19,700 - £20,600 pro rata, depending upon experience.
The Primary Department seeks to create a friendly and inviting learning environment where students feel valued
and are able to develop through carefully planned activities. Children should know that they are loved and are precious in God’s sight. The teachers and support staff seek to develop good relationships with children and mentor their social and spiritual development as well as their academic progress. Children are also taught to
respect each other and the adults who work with them.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff
and volunteers to share this commitment and abide by our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy. As part of
the interview process applicants will be asked at least one question relating to safeguarding children. All staff are subject to an enhanced DBS check and new staff will complete this application once they have accepted the
role. A conviction may not exclude candidates from appointment but will be considered as part of the recruitment process.
