🧑🎓Classroom News
Primary School - Toy museum trip
As part of our topic this term, Year 1 and 2 had a class trip to Abbey House Museum in Kirkstall to learn more about old toys. We took part in a workshop and got to play with lots of the toys from the past. Then we had a great time exploring the rest of the museum. It was lots of fun!
Middle School Drama - The BFG
Last night the BFG opened to a raucous audience who loved every second of it filled with spectacle and surprises. Students of BFG did a fantastic job at bringing the much loved tale to life and the next two performances are sure to be even better. The Friday and Saturday performances are very nearly sold out, attracting BCS families and Roald Dahl fans across Leeds and Bradford!

Headteacher's Message
Our Mission
To provide a holistic Christian education for all and to inspire discipleship.
Our Vision
To be a Christian community in which everyone grows in character, faith, knowledge, understanding and wisdom.
As part of my previous work in Cambodia, I was part of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) accreditation teams. This involved visiting Christian schools in South East Asia and ensuring they were being true to their vision and mission. Mark still works in a similar role, supporting Christian schools in Asia.
Christian schools around the world exist and provide an amazing service to their community. They provide opportunities for dialogue about faith, and we celebrate when we see children coming to faith in our Lord.
The church grows through Christian schools around the world. Christian schools are a part of Missions. They are places where people may hear the Gospel for the first time ever, and where students are taught from a Biblical worldview.
Please pray for other schools like ours. They too need Christian teachers. Christian schools must be academically excellent to attract all they seek to serve. They also must be authentically Christian. That means only hiring Christians and often the salaries offered are a barrier.
Thanks for your ongoing support for BCS and partnership with us.
