Quick Stop Notices 👀
Middle School Residential 2nd – 4th Oct
Please arrive at school on Monday at 8:30am.
Dear Middle school parents.
Please check your inbox for the email (link below) that Mrs Pickles sent out today with details for the residential at Netherside Hall, Monday 2nd – Wednesday 4th October.
Please let us know your response to the request that you pick your child up from the residential at 12:45 on the Wednesday, an unfortunate measure forced on us by a scheduled train strike.
There is a drop in available to you if you have questions on Monday 25th September at 3:30. Please come into the reception area.
Please make sure you have provided all items on the kit list.

Autism Provision Successes
Two of our formerly DSP students have both started at University in September. Congratulations to both of them who faced and overcame emotional barriers in their learning to achieve this tremendous goal. One Mum writes:
Thank you for everything you have done for Mia. When she first started at BCS we never dared to dream she would end up where she is now.

Josh’s success is down to his time at BCS.

Headteacher’s Message
Our Mission
To provide a holistic Christian education for all and to inspire discipleship.
Our Vision
To be a Christian community in which everyone grows in character, faith, knowledge, understanding and wisdom.
We have some recent staff turn over and are looking to recruit a receptionist and a learning support assistant – both part time. Our staff work for sacrificial salaries because they believe in what we do as a school, and love being part of the BCS community.
We strive to make fees affordable for parents, and be able to provide quality Christian education. I am grateful for a team who believe in our vision and mission and are prepared to give so much to our school.
I have been encouraged this week by visitors who have been so positive about our school and what we do.
I was also encouraged by one of our staff who shared how she has recently been reminded of Moses, who offered his staff as the only thing he had. I re read the story, and noticed that when his arms tired, his friends held it for him. BCS is a place like that, where people work together to support each other and hold up each other’s staff.
We are hiring – if you know any Christians who would like to work with us please share the job adverts on Facebook, on the website, by word of mouth – however you communicate.
