Building Project in September/October
Over the Summer holidays we are starting a building project, which involves demolishing Room 10 – the playground portacabin, and replacing it with a permanent structure including two classrooms. This work should hopefully be done by October half term.
The car park and bottom end of the playground will become a building site, meaning staff will be parked on the streets, and there will be no access through the big gate.
We will not be opening the gates for students until 8:45am each morning, when they will be directed through the side gate and around the long way into the playground. Please do not arrive earlier than this.
At the end of the day collection for primary children will stay the same, but for middle and upper students will be by the main entrance rather than by the large gate.
Please park carefully and thoughtfully, as spaces will be limited.

Headteacher’s Message
Our Mission
To provide a holistic Christian education for all and to inspire discipleship.
Our Vision
To be a Christian community in which everyone grows in character, faith, knowledge, understanding and wisdom.
This year has been testament to God’s faithfulness to us as a school. As I reiterated at the Celebration evening, there have been so many positives throughout the year, amongst sadness and loss. Our mission and vision have been lived out daily.
I am incredibly proud of a committed and dedicated staff team at Bradford Christian School. People have shown the willingness to step in, step up, and show care and concern for each other. There is genuine compassion within the whole staff team, evidenced through the responses to a number of events and challenges this academic year.
Our weeks are underpinned with staff prayer, which makes a HUGE difference for us all. Added to monthly parent prayer and individual prayer we know God is in our school.
We have seen healing throughout our community – physical and emotional.
We have a thriving community where older students have had several opportunities to lead younger ones.
Our enrolments have increased to the point that many year groups are now full!
Our celebration evening and two sports days were examples of positive relationships across school – thanks young leaders in upper school!
We have a new Maths teacher joining in September, who has been with us before and really understands BCS.
Seven Learning Support Assistants have studied on the Essential Christian Teacher Course with Mr Moon this year as they step up with more responsibility.
We have a coherent curriculum across school, with leaders for each subject.
We have a well functioning office team after significant loss.
Kim, Kimesha and Abi have kept school sparkly clean.
Our students are our biggest success – they are known, valued and accepted.
We hope that this year we have truly been a Christian community in which everyone grows in character, faith, knowledge, understanding and wisdom
Have a wonderful holiday.
