Thursday
Primary
Don’t forget World Book Day on Thursday 1st March – children from EYFS to Year 6 are invited to dress up as their favourite book character. If you missed the letter and the free book token there will be spares in the school office.
We look forward to meeting you all at our Primary parent teacher evenings, the week beginning 12th after school. More information to follow.
Please make sure children from Reception up are wearing school uniform when they come to school, except on 1st March when they can be dressed as a book character. Also, they still need coats even though we are seeing some sunshine.
Joy Class (Year 1 and 2) will be leading assembly at 9am on 14th March – put the date in your diaries Joy parents, as you are all invited.
We are looking for volunteers to listen to our younger children read. If you know someone who might like to spend some time in school each week (or two weeks) reading with special little people we would love to hear from you.
You may have noticed a skipping mania in the primary playground – please join us in encouraging children to bring skipping ropes and get active.
