    Deputy Headteacher's Message

    Dear Parents
Some of you may already be aware that, after working at the school for 31 years, this will be my final year at BCS. I will, therefore, be leaving the school permanently in July 2025.
I will be the last of the original founding group to leave. It is really good to be able to do so knowing that the school, despite current challenges, is in a good place. It is also great to see a younger, committed staff team who will take up the baton of Christian Education in Bradford and make it relevant for the current generation.
It has been a privilege and a blessing to have had the opportunity to contribute to such a unique place but I am confident that, under Jane Prothero's leadership, the school can continue to prosper and to do good work in the Kingdom of God.
    Wishing you all every blessing,

    Headteacher's Message

    Our Mission

To provide a holistic Christian education for all and to inspire discipleship.

    Our Vision

To be a Christian community in which everyone grows in character, faith, knowledge, understanding and wisdom.

This week Stephen White, one of our parents, will be taking two of his children to the High Court in London to fight the VAT case for independent schools. Christian Concern will argue why the government is acting illegally.
Please read this article and pray for this case.  Fulneck Moravian School has closed this week due to VAT rules and falling numbers, and others are considering whether they are still viable. We have worked hard to set a realistic budget, but if the law changed we would all be in a much better place financially - both parents and school alike.

Thank you for your continued support of Bradford Christian School

    Have a Blessed weekend
