A Quick Parking Reminder
Just a friendly reminder about parking safely when you're dropping off and picking up the children. We know it gets really busy, but let's all work together to make sure everyone stays safe.
A few simple things to remember:
-
No stopping on the zig-zags: Please keep the yellow zig-zag lines outside the school gates completely clear. They're there so we can all see any children who might be crossing the road.
-
Don't park in the disables spaces unless you have a disabled badge- some families really need these to access school
-
Don't block our neighbours: Please avoid parking across local driveways or on the pavement. We need to keep our neighbours happy and ensure there's space for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
-
Park a little further away: If you can, parking a street or two away and walking the last little bit makes a huge difference to the congestion right outside school.
-
Slow down: Please drive slowly and be extra careful around the school. Little ones can be unpredictable!
We're all in this together, and every little bit helps to keep our children safe.
Thanks for your help with this!
On Saturday 11th October at 10am, Sunbridge Road Mission will be holding a Ladies Clothes Swap Fundraiser to raise money for their brand new building project. This will be an opportunity for ladies to bring their unwanted good quality pre-loved clothes to swap for something they would like to take home instead. There is a suggested donation of £10 on the door or whatever you feel you can give. Please bring clothing on hangers. Other items like shoes, accessories and homewares are also welcome. Tea coffee & biscuits will be provided and there will also be cakes to buy on the day aswell. Please spread the word and bring a friend. The SRM team look forward to seeing you there.
Thank you for your continued support in ensuring our students look smart and are ready for learning. To maintain consistency and fairness across the whole school, please ensure your child adheres to the uniform policy at all times.
Key reminders include:
- Jewellery: No jewellery is permitted, with the exception of medical alert bracelets and a maximum of a single, small stud earring in each ear. Hoops, bracelets, and necklaces are not allowed.
- Nails & Hair: Nail varnish, gel nails, and acrylics are not permitted. Hair colour must be natural.
We ask that you support us by ensuring your child leaves for school correctly dressed each day. The full, detailed uniform policy can be viewed on our website: https://bradfordchristianschool.com/uniform/
Essential Equipment: To support learning in the classroom, please ensure your child has the following:
- All Students: A labelled pair of headphones.
- Years 5 - 11: A personal set of stationery supplies (pens, including green and black, pencils, ruler, eraser, maths set, scientific calculator etc.).
Please Label Everything! We cannot overstate the importance of labelling all personal belongings, including jumpers, coats, PE kits, and lunchboxes. Already this term, we have two identical age 7-8 jumpers in lost property without any names, making them impossible to return to their owners. Clearly labelling items helps us ensure they are returned to your child quickly.
We thank you for your partnership and look forward to a successful term.

Middle School Pastoral Lead Message
Our Mission
To provide a holistic Christian education for all and to inspire discipleship.
Our Vision
To be a Christian community in which everyone grows in character, faith, knowledge, understanding and wisdom.
What do you get when you cross 50 excited children, a load of enthusiastic young interns, BCS and Yorkshire Camps staff… mix them with several acres of forest, a football pitch, swings, climbing wall and air hockey…smear them generously with mud, smoke gently by a bonfire then bake everything together with Bible teaching times? The Middle School Residential 2025!
Thank you for entrusting us with your children. For many this was the first time they’d ever spent away from home. Here are some comments from staff and children on the trip:
“I adored watching student friendship blossom, navigated and negotiated.”
“Archie loved the singing and memory verses.”
“Can we adopt Mr Coe please?”
“The girls were having such fun on the assault course having a ‘sloth off’ against one another, staff and house team members. Neorah came out victorious, winning extra pudding!”
“Learnt that Mrs T has cheese competition with Theo and Roman B”
“Zachary enjoyed beating Mrs V at the star board game”
“The cookie fight was hilarious started by Mrs T and Miss R and continued by Lucinda and Marley.”
“Miss H can be very competitive in indoor hockey...I’m still aching…” (Mrs T) “that duster (hockey puc replacement) is going to get torn to pieces” (Trystan)
“The tea was spilt on the trampolines which took great punishment from our students and I ripped my jeans.” (Mrs E)
“Our students adored the space the swings and zip line, we need these in our playground please Jesus!!!”
“Late night corridor duty, hilarious 😂 Wot sleep???”
