Lowry Art Gallery Trip

As part of their English and Art studies this half, term years 5&6, 9&10 will be visiting The Lowry in Salford. This is to study the work of L.S. Lowry- famous for his ‘matchstalk men’ scenes. His work features heavily in the book ‘Smart’ by Kim Slater which students are reading in English.

The trip will be on Wednesday 25 January 2023 and last all day.

Mrs Taylor will be leading the trip together with Mrs Fear and Miss Peckover. Students will travel by mini-bus and car.

Students will need:

A packed lunch (remember not to order a school dinner on this day)

A pen and notebook

A drawing pencil and their Art sketch pad

There will be no charge for this trip.
