📰 Headteacher's Message
Our Mission
To provide a holistic Christian education for all and to inspire discipleship.
Our Vision
To be a Christian community in which everyone grows in character, faith, knowledge, understanding and wisdom.
We're really looking forward to welcoming everyone back into school next week! We hope you've had a good and restful Summer.
It was wonderful to gather together last Thursday morning as GCSE results were handed out—sharing pastries, hot drinks, and plenty of happy chatter while our Year 11s opened their envelopes. It was a true celebration not just of grades, but of friendship, community, and years of hard work coming to fruition.
We couldn't be prouder of this cohort. They have shown incredible heart, and their results reflect both their personal determination and the unwavering support of our staff, families, and church communities.
Key Highlights
Beating Predictions: Over 55% of our students exceeded their target grades, with the group averaging nearly a full grade higher (+0.9) than predicted across all subjects.
Standout Progress: Students starting from lower baseline points made some of our biggest gains (+1.4 to +1.9 grades above targets), showing just how much value is added to every child's journey here.
Subject Successes:
Religious Education: 90% at Grade 7 or above
Science: 83% at Grade 7 or above
History: 78% at Grade 7 or above
Spanish: 67% at Grade 6 or above
Resilience and Community
Beyond the figures, this group navigated genuine challenges over the last two years—including family bereavements, health struggles, and big life transitions. Seeing every single student achieve so well today is a testament to their perseverance and the close partnership between form teachers, support staff, parents, and pastors.
Whether catching up after joining late, pushing through tough health days, or locking in a row of 8s and 9s, our Year 11s have done themselves proud.
Thank you for your ongoing prayers, partnership, and for sharing in the joy (and pastries!) with us today. Please join us in cheering on our graduates as they take their next steps!
Warmest blessings,
