The Week Ahead Weekly Updates and Communication for Parents

Thanks for your patience and support this week as we tried hard to make things work. I am disappointed that we could not open, and the decision was not taken lightly.

We have faced a few challenges this week, but as usual, the team has pulled together to make it work. We received our Best Christian Workplaces Award, and it really does reflect the way people pull together in school. Staff continue to grow and develop, and enjoy being with your children. It is my privilege to lead this team of people, many of

whom are able to express their calling from God to work at BCS.

It is also my pleasure to introduce you to Mr Kwon, who will be joining our team next month. He was a student in our school in Cambodia, where the Protheros and Kershaws spent a long time livingand working. He is now a fully fledged qualified Christian teacher, who sees teaching as his mission and will come and join us. He will teach with the upper school PE team, upper school finance, and some Maths and Science. He is a wonderful human, and was interviewed by a group of year 11s (as well as formal interview). After the interview we received a student council suggestion, to employ him ASAP.

I am so grateful for the people who are part of our team and help us outlive our vision and mission as a school.
