Foodbank Harvest collection this week
Thank you to everyone who has brought in food this week. We'll announce the total weight next week.
Classroom restoration
Mr Peckover and Mr McGrail have been removing rotten overboards and structural timbers on the portacabin classrooms in order to make them warm and water tight this winter. These portacabins were from the original Church On The Way site when Mr Moon founded the school in 1993, they have served us well! Please pray for Gods provision for something as a replacment in the near future.

Our Mission
To provide a holistic Christian education for all and to inspire discipleship.
Our Vision
To be a Christian community in which everyone grows in character, faith, knowledge, understanding and wisdom.
Recently, like many schools, we have been navigating a significant period of staff sickness. This has presented numerous challenges, and I want to extend my thanks to our incredible staff team. Colleagues have consistently gone above and beyond, covering lessons and taking on extra responsibilities to ensure our students' learning continues with minimal disruption. Their dedication is commendable. I also want to thank you, our parents and carers, for your patience and understanding during this time.
The well-being of our staff is, and always will be, one of our priorities as a school. We are a stronger school when our teachers and support staff are healthy and supported, and we are continuing to find ways to ensure they have the resources they need to thrive.
This week Mr Peckover and Mr McGrail have worked tirelessly to repair our portacabins making them water tight, our staff have stepped up to teach in their non contact time, and our parents have supported school in prayer and practical actions. Mr Barnes has worked with many staff to bring out the best in them, and he has been excited to see the quality of teaching and learning in our school. There have been exciting instances of faith integrated learning across school, and the student council has created a job list for us!
In the BCS spirit of community, I would like to ask you to join me in keeping our school in your thoughts and prayers. We are currently facing several significant challenges beyond our immediate control, including ongoing issues with staff and student sickness, and our old and costly school buildings and malfunctioning heating system. Your prayers for our entire school community as we navigate these hurdles would be greatly appreciated.
Despite these challenges, we remain committed and optimistic. It is in times like these that the strength of our community, and the power of prayer really shines through.
