    👩🏽‍🦰 New Teacher Introductions 🧔🏽

Dear Parents, my name is Stanley Coe, and I am the new apprentice teacher here at Bradford Christian School. I have just come off a 4 year Sports and Education degree at the University of Derby as well as a placement in a local primary school. Physical Education is my specialty but since joining the school I have begun teaching other core primary subjects such as English and Math. Teaching and working with children has been something I have been passionate about and I am incredibly blessed my God and the school to be working with your children.

I have been blessed to grow up in a christian household, as well as the opportunity of being a missionary kid in Thailand for 11 years and Germany for 5 years. Because of this lifestyle, not only was it an essential part of my faith journey, it helped me learn different cultural values that have continued to show and help me in my teaching.

My faith journey has been relatively straight forward, God has done amazing things in my life leading up to this opportunity to work at the school. Through life I have had my struggles and my doubts, in school and university, but still God has kept me on his path. I live my life on the verse that saved me, which is Psalm 19:14 “May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.” In everything I do I want to bring and shine the joy of the Lord unto others around me. With this I am ecstatic to work with your children, helping them build their fundamental movement skills, physical literacy, and active lifestyles, as well as show them example of a teacher with a Christ like attitude living for Him.

    Headteacher's Message

    Our Mission

To provide a holistic Christian education for all and to inspire discipleship.

    Our Vision

To be a Christian community in which everyone grows in character, faith, knowledge, understanding and wisdom.

What a fantastic start to the school year. The school is buzzing with energy, and it's been awesome to see all our students get back into their routines with so much enthusiasm. The staff are excited about the makeup of their new classes, the students seem to love the new staff and there is a very positive atmosphere in school.

You might have noticed a few exciting changes around the school over the summer. Our science lab got a  makeover, making it a much brighter place for our students to learn. The primary classrooms have finally been repaired after the flood, and they have some shiny new notice boards. The hall floor is all polished up, and we even have new goalposts for sports.

We're also excited to welcome some new faces to our team this year. Their expertise and fresh ideas are a great addition to our already dedicated faculty. Many of you have already met Mrs Travis, Mr Coe and Miss Fenwick, and this week we welcomed Garrie-John Barnes, who will be mentoring some of our newer teachers. He brings a ton of experience, having been a head teacher at Christian schools for 18 years in Barnsley and a year in Liverpool. His servant heart and wealth of knowledge will be a huge asset to our team.

As a faith-based school, our commitment to weaving faith into everything we do is at the core of our school life. This year, we're focusing on bringing our core values even more deeply into every subject and activity. This not only makes learning richer but also helps students build a strong moral compass and a deeper sense of their place in the world. We can't wait to see the positive impact this has.

And finally, we're all really looking forward to our upcoming trips and residentials! These are such an important part of our curriculum, giving students a chance to learn outside the classroom, build resilience, and strengthen their friendships. The relevant teachers will be sharing more details soon, but we are all incredibly excited about the adventures ahead. A huge shoutout to our staff for all the unseen hard work they put in to make these trips happen, it really makes a difference.

Thanks as always for your continued support in making our school community so special. We're looking forward to an amazing year!
