    Headteacher's Message

    Our Mission

To provide a holistic Christian education for all and to inspire discipleship.

    Our Vision

To be a Christian community in which everyone grows in character, faith, knowledge, understanding and wisdom.

    Dear Parents and Carers,

It has been an incredibly busy week at school, and I wanted to share some important updates, ranging from improvements to our site to some significant news within our school family.

We are pleased to share some positive developments regarding our school facilities. We have secured some new grants which will be directly invested back into the school. You may notice work taking place as we fix the perimeter wall, and we have also installed new boilers to ensure the school remains warm and efficient.  Room 13 will be fully repaired during the Easter holidays.

There is great excitement for one school family.  Congratulations to Miss Fenwick, who will become Mrs Kershaw next Saturday (14th Feb). She is celebrating a Valentine’s wedding to Matt Kershaw (the Kershaws' son). We wish them a wonderful day and a lifetime of happiness together. We don’t know how we will cope with two Mrs Kershaws!

I also want to say a huge thank you to Molly Cox, our teaching student, for being an amazing asset to the PE department this term. Her hard work and enthusiasm have been noted by staff and students alike.

Finally, amidst the busyness of mock exams and data checks, I want to thank our wider staff team. From the tireless work on Matilda rehearsals to running after-school clubs such as racket club and homework club in their own time, their dedication is what makes our community flourish.

As a community, we turn to prayer in both times of joy and times of need. Please could we ask you to uphold the following in your prayers:

    • Mrs. Hutcheson: We share the sad news that she is facing a recurrence of cancer and will be undergoing a month of radiotherapy. We pray for her strength, healing, and peace during this treatment, and we look forward to her return.
    • Ellie & Matt Kershaw to be: We pray for blessings upon their marriage as they start their new life together next weekend.
    • Our School Community: For stamina for our staff and students during this busy season of mock exams and rehearsals.
