Headteacher’s Message

Our mission

To provide a holistic Christian education for all and to inspire discipleship.

Our Vision

To be a Christian community in which everyone grows in character, faith, knowledge, understanding and wisdom.

Each Monday morning staff gather to pray for school. This week our focus was on telling the gospel – looking for opportunities to boldly share our faith because people can’t have faith if they haven’t heard, and people can’t hear if nobody tells them. Romans 10 v 17 says  Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.

Of course, as people of faith, we believe God will answer our prayers.  On Thursday morning parent prayer resumed in our school staff room. They also pray for our school, which is amazing.

This week has been full of celebrations, acting, drama, singing and fun. Primary children reminded us not to be afraid, and Mrs Garcia talked about the hope Jesus brings into our world. Middle School took a Christmas message to the Over 50s group at St James’ Church, and Revs Tracy and Marianne shared the Christingle story in an assembly. Isaac March, an ex student, came with two friends to talk to year 9 and 10 about faith at university. Mr Prothero made sure the whole school received the message of Christmas, tied with Easter, in a whole school assembly.

As we break for Christmas, and life gets unbelievably busy for many of you,  I want to share John 3 v 16 and 17 – a well known passage fundamental to faithFor God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.

Have a lovely holiday everyone, and amidst all the excitement and fun take some time to be thankful to God.

Thank you for your support of Bradford Christian School

Have a Blessed Christmas
