Liverpool to Leeds Enduro Epic
This Easter, five lads and their dads will set out from Liverpool to ride the whole length of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. Josiah Lush (Year 7) and his younger brother Isaac (Year 5), aka the ‘Lush Lads’, along with their friends Armin and John, will be giving up the comforts of a warm dry home and heading out for a four day 127 mile epic, weaving their way through the cities and countryside of north-west England, camping along the way. But why all the effort?

Headteacher’s Message
Our mission
To provide a holistic Christian education for all and to inspire discipleship.
Our Vision
To be a Christian community in which everyone grows in character, faith, knowledge, understanding and wisdom.
This term has been a busy one. It has been great seeing much of our school improvement plan addressed by our staff team. A great deal of work has taken place developing our curriculum, and there are now statements for each subject on the website.
Our community is once again alive – there is lots going on with residentials, visits, visitors, extra curricular activities at lunchtimes, and a very busy student support team working with our children.
We also continue to work hard on student character development. This week we have been led by nine students who walked Year 1 to 8 through the Easter Story, culminating in an assembly delivered by Stephen White, one of our parents. Student leadership is challenging, rewarding, exhausting and frustrating at times, and these nine students have approached the whole week with smiles and enthusiasm. Seeing their willingness and openness to be used by God has encouraged me and other staff considerably.
We are still trialling the new parent evening structure and welcome your feedback on how it works. We are still finding our feet and trying to make it easier for parents with more than one child to come.
We hope to see as many of you as possible at the meetings during the week beginning 24th April. The older students will be leading their own meetings with upper school staff support, but staff are available if you need to speak to them.
