Headteacher's Message
Our mission: To provide a holistic Christian education for all and to inspire discipleship.
Our vision: To be a Christian community in which everyone grows in character, faith, knowledge, understanding and wisdom.
Celebration evening
Thanks to all who showed up, and congratulations to those who received awards. Thanks to all who cheered them on - the atmosphere was really special.
A heartfelt thanks to Rev Chris Baxfield for lending us his church as a great venue.
Our past three celebrations have moved around churches represented in school - if your church could host us next year we would love to hear from you.
For those of those not there I repeat the last part of my message:
For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. Romans 4:6
Towards the end of the year I want to thank the body of BCS - children, staff, parents, governing body - God has given strengths and gifts to us all and wants us to use them in positive ways.
Thanks to our students who make school a great place to be, who make sure that every day is different for staff and we don’t get bored. They teach us so much and who help us grow.
Thanks and for families for trusting us with your children. Thanks for making financial sacrifices so school can operate
Thanks to the staff for working together, each offering strengths and talents, and complementing each other in skill sets. Thanks or being willing, for saying yes more than saying no, for seeing things that could be better and making them happen. Thanks for following God’s calling
Thanks to governing body - volunteer so much time to support me, hold me accountable
Last of all, thanks to God, the author and perfector of our faith, for a school environment where God can be glorified
