Classroom News

Last term, Middle students advocated for a charity. Presentations were judged by a panel including a local pastor, a local councillor and a teacher. The winning team included Amba Fairs Billiam, Rebecca Adeleye and Isle Overend. Their chosen charity was ‘Tehiila‘, who work safeguarding and protecting vulnerable children in Zambia.

Their prize was to be able to fundraise in the school community on behalf of the charity.

Monday 10th, Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 12th July, the girls will be selling buns in the school hall at break time.

In addition they are also inviting orders for whole cakes, etc.
If you have an event coming up, a guest coming round or just fancy having a delicious cake in, put in your order using this link.

The cakes you can purchase are:
A chocolate cake [Mrs Moon’s legendary ‘special’]
A pack of six cup cakes in a presentation box. [Baked by ex student Abi Peckover]
A delicious carrot cake [baked by our own star baker Amba Fairs Billam]
All cakes will cost £6 with proceeds going to Tehila.
Orders close on Wednesday 5th July

Please support our chosen charity….and bag yourself some delicious cake.

Headteacher’s Message

Our mission

To provide a holistic Christian education for all and to inspire discipleship.

Our Vision

To be a Christian community in which everyone grows in character, faith, knowledge, understanding and wisdom.

Community thoughts

This week was our monthly governor meeting, a time when our amazing voluntary body meet to discuss school issues. These people represent a cross section of school and Christian society. They bring experience of Christian faith, business, education, parenting, cultures and wisdom, and they support me in my role as head teacher. I am so grateful for them all, and their wisdom as they do this role.

This body is an important part of the BCS village helping to raise our children. Whilst they do not have direct responsibility for day to day events in school, they are my employers and they hold me accountable for making sure we are living out our vision and mission. They pray for our school, and their support is invaluable, yet often unseen.

This week I would like to honour each of them, and thank them for the time they give to make BCS a better place.

Thank you for your support of Bradford Christian School

Have a Blessed weekend! 😎
